I made my first focaccia yesterday! It paired well with the Provençal rose, we had and even better with some amazing company.
Our little "quaranteam" gathered, to social distance outside, eat, drink and enjoy the fireworks. And goodness, were there fireworks! From 8 to midnight the Valley sparkled all over. We even had a couple of what almost felt like private shows. They could not have been any closer.
I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th!

Today was day 1 of Sparkling Wine Week with @winepleasures

I was up at 4 am with coffee

And had a nap at 9am!
😴
Tomorrow I get to sleep in until 5!

We didn't drink wine last night. Around 2:30 we s

We didn't drink wine last night. Around 2:30 we saw smoke rising from Mt. Charleston. 10 acres became 200 acres within 15 minutes. This is a shot from yesterday at 5:43 pm. High winds kept fire fighters from having the ability to bring in air support. This morning looks better. Winds are currently still moving north east which is the safest direction. We watch and hope. #mahagonyfire
