Vindemia Winery

Vindemia Vineyard & Winery was founded by David and Gail Bradley who also own California Dreamin’ Balloon Adventures. 1985 they started the balloon business and they wanted to explain to passengers the beautiful wine country they were flying over. David did a little research then got hooked!  As he told his passengers about the varieties they were flying over and the details of the soil and weather on the vineyards, he knew he needed to find a piece of property and begin growing himself.  They purchased land at the north end of  Calle Contento on Vista Del Monte and grow Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. They also have 1 acre of olive trees and they press these for olive oil each November. In addition they grow some lavender which is used throughout the year in their bed and breakfast on the property.  Guest can stay in the 2 room  La Vindemia B & B and then take balloon trip in the am then stay and taste wine. They have a Rose garden where they offer breakfast following balloon rides or if you drop by later you can picnic here with a bottle of wine from  the winery.

Tasting room is open Friday and Saturday 11-5.
